Signal nodes & logic operators

18 node types

Object

entity

Standard object interaction node in the signal circuit.

AND

andOperator

Is only ON if all incoming signals are ON.

OR

orOperator

Is ON if AT LEAST ONE of its incoming signals is ON.

NAND

nandOperator

Transmits OFF if all of its incoming signals are ON. Otherwise, it is ON.

XOR

xorOperator

This node can transmit an ON signal if EXACTLY ONE of its incoming signals is ON. If more than one incoming signal is ON, it turns OFF.

NOT

notOperator

FLIPS the incoming signal. This means it turns ON signals into OFF, and OFF into ON.

Clock

clock

Switches between ON and OFF automatically based on a timer. The time impacts the duration between switches.

Hold

hold

Turns ON when an ON signal is supplied. Stays ON for a set duration, even after the incoming signal turns OFF.

D Flip-Flop

flipFlop

Stands for Data or Delay Flip-Flop. This node can receive a signal in its UPPER connection and will either keep or disregard said signal based on the input it receives through its LOWER connection. When the LOWER connection receives an ON signal, the node samples and stores the signal supplied in the UPPER connection. When the LOWER connection receives an OFF signal instead, the node will hold its current state and ignore the input from the UPPER connection.

Toggle

toggle

Signals in the UPPER connection will toggle this node between ON and OFF. Signals received by the LOWER connection will reset the node to OFF.

Timed Trigger

timedTrigger

When the UPPER incoming signal changes from OFF to ON, this node stays OFF during a configurable delay. After the delay, the node turns ON for a set duration. Temporarily supplying the LOWER connection with an ON signal will reset the node.

Save Signal

writeRegister

Saves an incoming signal. Saved signals can be used again elsewhere via the "Use Signal" node of the same Channel.

Use Signal

readRegister

Uses a stored signal from a "Save Signal" node of the same Channel.

ON

trueNode

This node is always ON.

OFF

falseNode

This node is always OFF.

Flank

flankNode

This node turns ON briefly when receiving an ON signal. Afterwards, it turns OFF.

Global Reset

globalReset

Reset all Sparkworks Graphs

Output

output

Allows the graph to generate an output signal. The signal can be used in other graphs.

Energy systems: rotational power & heat

Kinetic & thermal energy

Rotational Kinetic Power

Water wheels and windmills generate rotational energy to drive processing machinery like the Mill.

Power Consumers

  • Mill Needs 0.1 power (within 50m)

Cooking Heat Energy

Cooking stations, kitchens, and fireplaces supply thermal energy (heat energy) to prepare food recipes.
